Vice-President Jim Grant

With a strong background in science and rationalism, Jim became disillusioned with organized religion at an early age.  After many years of searching and trying out various religious doctrines, he found the openness and acceptance he was looking for in Unitarian Universalism in 2022.  He joined the church and has been a staunch supporter ever since.  Jim is a retired Army officer and currently works for the State of South Carolina in the field of Emergency Management.  He is an avid player of trivia games and TTRPG’s and fascinated by science and history.  He loves soft jazz and is a strong supporter of live theater.
