Our ASWUU summer series this year is titled “The Spirituality of Ordinary Things.” The topics for each week have a common thread: slowing down, noticing, reconnecting, finding meaning in ordinary experience, and building community. This week, led by cat-lovers Carli and Matt Harlow, we examine the playful but meaningful topic, "The Gospel According to Our Pets: Life Lessons from Furry Friends." This session invites participants to reflect on companionship, grief, joy, presence, and unconditional affection through relationships with animals.
The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will be available on Facebook Live. To participate remotely, go to the ASWUU Facebook page and click the Live link.
We will have a fellowship hour after the service, where the coffee and conversation are always rich. You may bring a dish to share if you would like to do so.
