The Many Faces of Fathers' Day

Following up on our Mothers' Day service last month with a similar title, we will consider our relationships with our fathers and what we learned from them -- about both how we should be in this world, and in some cases how we should not be.
Pamela Baxter has been a lay minister with Unitarian Universalist congregations in Salem, Oregon, and here in the grand Strand for over 15 years. She is a former children’s religious education instructor and former President of the Board here at All Souls Waccamaw.
A graduate from coastal Carolina University, she has been very active within the LGBT community with Grand Strand Pride, OutMyrtle Beach, PFLAG and previously served on the board of the Human Rights Commission of the City of Myrtle Beach. A storyteller, a comedian, and a great hugger.
The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will be available on Facebook Live. To participate remotely, go to the ASWUU Facebook page and click the Live link.
We will have a time for fellowship after the service, where the coffee and conversation are always rich. You may bring a dish to share if you would like to do so.
