Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM

This service was inspired by a post from the singer/songwriter Carrie Newcomer, titled "What I Knew but Didn't Know at the Time."

Carli was born and raised in Connecticut. She moved to the Myrtle Beach area after vacationing there for 45 years. She lives with her husband, Matt and their 5 cats, which are probably their only chance at having grandchildren. Their daughter, Alyssa and son-in-law, Rob live in Connecticut. She has been in the optical field for more than 40 years and is an Optician at the VA in Myrtle Beach. She is the President of the Board of Trustees at All Souls Waccamaw UU in Myrtle Beach and volunteers with the South Carolina Unitarian Universalist Justice Alliance, the Interfaith Partners of South Carolina, the South Carolina Association of Opticians and the Mythical and Medieval Renaissance Festival.

The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will be available on Facebook Live. To participate remotely, go to the ASWUU Facebook page and click the Live link.

We will have a time for fellowship after the service, where the coffee and conversation are always rich. You may bring a dish to share if you would like to do so.
