Threads of Unity: The Kinship Between the Bible and the Quran

Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Dear ASWUU Family and Friends,

Please join us this Sunday at 11 Am,  in-person or online.

This Sunday, we gather to reflect on the profound connections between two of the world’s most influential texts: The Bible and the Quran. As Unitarian Universalists, we embrace the wisdom of many traditions, seeking truth and meaning wherever it may be found. In this spirit, let us explore the shared threads that weave these texts together, reminding us of our common history and our shared yearning for the divine.

Carli was born and raised in Connecticut. She moved to the Myrtle Beach area after vacationing there for 40 years. She lives with her husband, Matt and their 4 cats. She has been in the optical field for more than 39 years and works in the Optical Shop at the VA in Myrtle Beach. She is currently the president of the Board of Trustees at ASWUU. She was the Worship Weaver Coordinator for 6 years previous to that.  Carli volunteers with the South Carolina Unitarian Universalist Justice Alliance, the Interfaith Partners of South Carolina, the South Carolina Association of Opticians and the Mythical and Medieval Renaissance Festival.

There will be  Coffee Hour after the service. Please bring a snack to share.  The service will be available on Facebook Live for those who prefer not to gather in person. Go to the ASWUU Facebook page and click the Live link.
