UU's Stained Glass Window - Our Six Sources of Inspiration

Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Join us this Sunday to explore Unitarian Universalism’s Six Sources of inspiration. This message will examine the diverse spiritual wisdom that guides our faith, from the wonder of the natural world, to the teachings of prophetic voices and world religions, to personal revelation and experience. Discover how these sources form a rich stained glass window of color and meaning, offering us different lenses through which to view the divine, the world, and our place in it.

Speaker: Bob Clegg

Bob Clegg is a member and the Worship Coordinator at ASWUU. A Unitarian Universalist for nearly ten years, he holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Wesley Theological Seminary. In professional life, he enjoyed successive careers as a homeless person, night watchman, respiratory therapist, biotech scientist, and founder and director of a nonprofit jobs office. Now retired, he volunteers at Eastern Carolina Homelessness Organization (ECHO), a Myrtle Beach nonprofit that breaks cycles of homelessness. Bob's passion is spreading the good news of economic equity and second chances.

Please join us this Sunday. The service will begin at 11am. The service will be available on Facebook Live for those who wish to participate remotely. Go to the ASWUU Facebook page and click the Live link.
