The Dangers of Legislating Morality
Dear ASWUU Family and Friends,
Legislation of morality has caused deaths, suicides, and even murders because such legislation stems from hatred, judgement, and the desire to control others. This week, the message will address how dangerous, painful, and futile it is to try to control, through legislation, what people do with their own bodies and with each other in private.
Speaker: Gina Trigg
Gina Trigg is a member of ASWUU who currently serves on our Web Team, doing web development and other technological duties at our church. She has been a Unitarian Universalist for 25 years. She is an ordained Pastafarian minister and pantheist. She is a native of Texas who came to us about 10 months ago by way of Upstate South Carolina.
