Suicide-Safer Spaces

Creating safe and secure spaces for individuals at risk of suicide is a critical aspect of prevention that involves both physical and emotional environments to foster safety, open communication and trust. Hunter will share his experience in creating such spaces, especially for someone returning home after a hospitalization for a suicide attempt.
Hunter Feavearyear is active in the All Souls Wacammaw Unitarian Universalist community and aspires to leadership in Unitarian Universalism. We look forward to his first time as speaker in our worship services and we look forward to many more!
The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. For those who wish to participate remotely, our services are available on Facebook both in real time and subsequently as recordings. Go to the ASWUU Facebook page and click the Live link.
We have a coffee hour after each service, during which the coffee and conversation are always rich. You may bring a dish or snack to share if you would like to do so.
