Memorial Day - A Hill to Die On - Matt Harlow

Dear ASWUU Family and Friends,
Please join us this Sunday at 11 Am, in-person or online.
This Sunday, for our annual Memorial Day service, ASWUU member Matt Harlow discusses an oft used military phrase: "A Hill to Die On". He will shed light on the current level of resentment and hatred in our country from an Unitarian Universalist viewpoint. He will also discuss Charleston native, Ralph H. Johnson and how his heroic actions saved members of his platoon.
Matt Harlow has been a Unitarian Universalist member for 20 years. He has recently served as President of the ASWUU Board Of Trustees from 2019-2024. Matt and his wife moved to Conway from Connecticut over 7 years ago and live with their herd of 4 spoiled cats. His hobbies include stage combat sword fighting, Renaissance reenacting, building Lego kits, and portraying Santa Claus. Matt's right of center world view and his humor promise that his reflections have a different perspective than mainstream UU philosophy.
Spread the word & bring a friend! Do you have a friend, family member, or colleagues who might appreciate this Sunday’s topic?
