Finding Healing and Magick in the Mundane

Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Speaker: SnowWolf

The phrase “finding healing and magick in the mundane" is a way of describing the practice of being present with ordinary things, while also noticing the unique sensory experiences and joy that make them special. It’s a concept that involves embracing the ordinary with a sense of gratitude and wonder.  Life’s magic happens every day.

SnowWolf is a Native American style Flute Musician of Shoshone and Mohawk descent. Originally from Idaho, he spent much of his childhood in South Carolina and New Mexico. While living in New Mexico he spent time visiting historical places and learning stories of nearby tribes, and of the Kokopelli (the traveling flute player). After the flute came to him in a very old traditional way, he set out on the road driving a truck and taught himself to play. SnowWolf has released 4 full length concept albums telling his own story.  He has also been featured in the song “Trail of Tears” by Tennessee Outlaw Country. In recent years he has found his passion as a Shamanic Healer and Reiki Master. He spends time focusing on sound healing using a combination of Native American flutes, crystal sound healing bowls, gongs, tingshas & drums.
